Socket System

In MU Online, Sockets and Seed Spheres are key elements for enhancing your weapons, sets, and accessories starting from Season 4. Thanks to them, you can add powerful options that increase damage, defense, attack speed, HP and Mana recovery, among other strategic advantages for your characters.

Socket Options for Sets and Weapons

Socket options were added starting from Season 4 and allow you to add special properties to the exclusive items of this season.

Types of Seeds and Spheres

In the socket system there are two main elements: Seeds (seeds with specific options) and Spheres (empty spheres that serve as containers).
By combining them, you get a Seed Sphere, which can then be inserted into weapons, sets, or shields to add different options.

Empty Spheres

Spheres determine the level of the Seed Spheres once assembled. The higher the Sphere level, the more powerful the resulting Seed Sphere.

Seed Sphere

The Seed Spheres are obtained by combining a Seed with an empty Sphere, resulting in a Seed Sphere with specific options depending on the type of Seed and the level of the Sphere.

Each Seed Sphere provides unique effects, either increasing offensive power, defense, or resource recovery, making them an essential component for optimizing combat performance.

Bonus Socket

The Bonus Socket is a special option that can be obtained on an item with sockets
when you place 3 Seeds in a specific order.
If you follow that order, the system can automatically generate an additional option on your item (with a 30% success rate).

• You need 3 filled slots with the correct seeds.
• The order matters (it is not random).
• If successful, your item gains a bonus effect.

Important Note:
If you place the same seeds in a different order, it will not work.
The bonus is always random even if you have the correct combination, as there is only a 30% chance of obtaining it.

Socket Package Option

The Socket Package Options allow items with sockets to gain additional options by combining them in a specific way. These options depend on the item properties and the Seed Spheres used.

Important: To activate these bonuses, all sockets from your complete set and weapons are considered according to the indicated combination.
